Norwegian pop phenomenon, Marcus and Martinus, are grown. After a short break, the twins have returned with a new EP titled “Soon”, out now.
First track and new single is “Pocket dial”, a catchy pop song written by Michael Pollack, James Abrahart, Mike Sabath and Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande, Panic! At The Disco, BTS).
Marcus & Martinus have already scored four number 1 albums in their native Norway and talking about this new adventure, they said: “Soon is a great project for us. We were able to take a lot of time in the studio, we were involved in the entire EP recording process. The songs we have chosen for this release mean a lot to us and we can not wait to perform them live”.
“We are happy because we were able to work with some of the best producers and authors. Tayla Parx is a great inspiration and the right person at the helm of our team. “Soon” is a collection of slow and energetic songs, different to what we have done so far, and anyone who is hearing songs from EP releases “Soon” will be able to hear it” added Martinus.

“Pocket dial” lyrics:

Been so good at forgetting you
Almost forgot I was working on forgetting, yeah
Suddenly it’s like world has been working against me
Already know you ain’t gonna believe me

But both my hands they were occupied
There was no way to grab my phone
Get you on the line, yeah
Baby I already know you ain’t gonna believe me
But believe me

I didn’t mean to pocket dial you, again
Baby, since I pocket dialed you
How you been?
It’s been some times since I heard your voice
I didn’t mean to call, but you had the choice
To pick up when I pocket dialed you, again

Yeah, my heart’s in better place
Since I called, just pop right in, then run away, yeah
Now all I have is these old text messages and pictures
No, I’m not saying I miss you

Because I didn’t mean to pocket dial you, again
Baby, since I pocket dialed you
How you been?
It’s been some times since I heard your voice
I didn’t mean to call, but you had the choice
To pick up when I pocket dialed you, again

I didn’t mean to do it, oh
I didn’t mean to do it (didn’t mean to)
I didn’t mean to do it (i didn’t mean to do it)
I didn’t mean to do it, do it, do it, do it, yeah

I didn’t mean to do it
I didn’t mean to do it

I didn’t mean to do it
I didn’t mean to do it, do it, do it, do it, yeah

I said
I didn’t mean to pocket dial you, again
But baby, since I pocket dialed you
How you been?
It’s been some times since I heard your voice
I didn’t mean to call, but you had the choice, (had the choice)
To pick up when I pocket dialed you, again

I didn’t mean to do it
I didn’t mean to do it, (didn’t mean to)
I didn’t mean to do it
I didn’t mean to do it, do it, do it, do it, yeah

I didn’t mean to do it
I didn’t mean to do it

I didn’t mean to do it
I didn’t mean to do it, do it, do it, do it, yeah
