Suede have hinted that their seventh studio album is on the way with a new teaser video. The short video, which was published on the band’s website, features atmospheric drones and includes eerie images of the band’s logo submerged under water.
In January of this year, frontman Brett Anderson said “I’m very proud of “Bloodsports” (the band’s last album), and the best thing about it is that it showed us we can write new music, and relevant new music,”.
“We want to carry on writing and pushing forward, so we’re taking it somewhere else now. I think it’ll be out next year, as we’re just writing at the moment, so realistically it will be next year”.
Anderson also ruled out the chances of guitarist Bernard Butler returning for future gigs, saying: “I don’t think he wants to come back. He’s happy doing what he’s doing.”
